LH Series Cylindrical Lock

ANSI Grade 1 Extra Heavy Duty

  • Extra Heavy duty, commercial grade cylindrical lockset, designed for maximum security, heavy traffic usage and fast, easy installation.
  • Knobs include steel reinforcement.
  • Internal steel mechanisms are corrosion treated for normal atmospheric conditions.
  • Heat treated heavy gauge cold rolled steel spindles add greater strength and security.
  • Threaded roses both sides hold lock firmly in place.

Heavy duty commercial, institutional, governmental and industrial buildings where high quality mechanism is required.

Certification / Compliance
  • UL listed for “A” label (3-hour) single swinging door (4′ x 8′).

  • ANSI/BHMA A156.2, Series 4000 Grade 1.
Doors & Preparations
  • 2-1/8″ cross bore, 1″ edge bore.
Backset
  • 2-3/4″ (70mm) standard, 2-3/8″ (60mm), 3-3/4″ (95mm) and 5″ (127mm) optional.
Door Thickness
  • 1-3/8″ (35mm) ~ 2″ (51mm) wood or metal door.
Latchbolt
  • 1/2″ (12.5mm) throw, UL listed, faceplate self-adjusted, 3/4″ (19mm) throw fire door deadlatch available.
Handing
  • Non-handed.
Strike
  • ANSI strike standard, T-strike or Full lip strike optional.
I/C Core
  • 6 or 7-pin, compatible with Best® and Falcon® original cylinder.
Trim
  • Roses are heavy wrought brass, bronze or stainless steel, installed over wrought steel reinforcing plates.

  • Knobs are brass, bronze or stainless steel, secured by steel knob retainer which cannot be depressed when lock has been locked.
Master Keying
  • Can be masterkeyed or grand masterkeyed.
